Diaphragm Wall

The Diaphragm Wall is an underground reinforced concrete structure constructed in situ panel by panel. They are often executed in construction projects in congested neighborhoods, close to existing structures where foundation depths and ground conditions would prove problematic for open excavations.

Pile Foundation

A pile foundation is a set of columns built into the ground to transfer the loads from superstructures through weak, compressible strata or water onto more robust, compact, less compressible, and stiffer soil or rock at depth. They are typically used for large structures and in situations where soil is not suitable to prevent excessive settlement.

Soil Anchoring

Soil anchoring is the process of inserting steel bars (also known as soil anchors) through holes drilled in diaphragm walls or retaining walls to anchor the wall to stable soil strata and grout it in place. After the grout cures, the steel anchors are pulled into tension against a plate and locked in position to resist movement of the retaining structure.

Borewell

Borewell is the process of extracting underground water from fresh water bearing zones. The borewells are drilled using the Reverse Rotary Drilling Technique, ensuring absolute verticality of the borehole using a minimum number of strainers and extracting almost sand-free clear water using 20% to 40% less electricity.

Recharge Well

Recharge wells are subsurface groundwater recharge techniques directly discharging water into deep water-bearing zones. They help control and mitigate floods, ensure rainwater percolation into the ground, and recharge the underground freshwater reservoirs.

Shotcrete | Gunite

Shotcreting | Guniting is spraying or depositing mortar made from very fine concrete to reinforce temporary and permanent excavations. It may be employed to stabilize excavation for an underground structure in concert with lagging and other forms of earth anchor.
